1. Agreement to terms

By creating an account or using More Cash Less Tax (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms form a binding agreement between you and More Cash Less Tax Pty Ltd (ABN: [ABN — update before launch]).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of service

More Cash Less Tax provides AI-powered financial management tools for Australian small businesses, including: financial dashboards, transaction categorisation, BAS draft generation, and monthly financial report generation.

The Service uses artificial intelligence (Claude AI by Anthropic) to analyse your financial data and generate insights. These outputs are drafts only and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before acting on them.

3. Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 18 years old; and
• An Australian resident or operating a business in Australia; and
• Using the Service for business purposes (not personal use).

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@morecashlesstax.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not share your account with others or use the Service on behalf of multiple businesses under a single account.

5. Free trial

We offer a free trial period as described on our Pricing page. After the trial ends, you must subscribe to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify trial terms with notice.

6. Subscriptions and billing

6.1 Subscription plans

Paid plans are available on monthly or annual billing cycles at the prices shown on our Pricing page (AUD, inclusive of GST where applicable).

6.2 Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You authorise us to charge your payment method on file.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods, except as required by Australian Consumer Law.

6.4 Price changes

We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price changes by email. Your continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any Australian law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
• Upload data that you do not have the right to share.
• Use the Service to store or process data on behalf of clients (the Service is for your own business only).
• Attempt to bypass authentication or security controls.

8. Financial information disclaimer

More Cash Less Tax is not a registered tax agent, BAS agent, financial planner, or accountant. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, tax, investment, or legal advice.

BAS drafts generated by More Cash Less Tax must be reviewed and lodged by a registered BAS agent or tax agent. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any information lodged with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, design, and content, is owned by More Cash Less Tax Pty Ltd or its licensors and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your data. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service for you.

10. Your data

We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy. On account deletion, your data is purged within 30 days.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, More Cash Less Tax Pty Ltd's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, even if advised of their possibility.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email. Your continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
